Bluetooth compatability

I have the premier audio with the bluetooth phone module and it will let me pair and make calls with my Nokia X6

However it will not allow me to upload any phonebook and there does not appear to be any option to create entries on the head unit. Despite making calls directly on the head unit keypad if I try to list them it reports "no dialled calls". Is there any form of update available. Prog rock is cool! Smile

Probably need to call LR direct (for what that is worth as I have been trying to get my bluetooth sorted for over 9 Months) or go to the dealer. I was looking on the site the other day at the X6 & noticed it didn't do what you have stated.

What is the best phone in owners experience to pair with the FL2? (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.

I had the same issue with my Nokia on my 2010 HSE. It would connect up and I could make calls, but it would not store dialled/received or missed calls. This is mentioned in the LR phone compatibility PDF available on the LR site.

Regarding importing my phone-book, I got around that by sending my contacts one at a time via "send as business card" "send via Bluetooth" once connected to the Freelander. It's a bit of a long haul, but it works fine once sent and I chose just to send the contacts I would expect to make and receive calls to and from.

Good luck

I agree my iphone works really well and the menu function shows 'missed calls' 'diialed numbers' etc, the phonebook uploads automatically all in all it is excellent.

My cheepie Sony Ericson Elm J101 paired without any problems.
Remember although phone is paired and receiving calls you need to press phone button on radio facia before directory shows. All FL2's (3) Gone
