My FL2 is due its 3rd / 45k / "C" service and now out of warranty so rather than visit a main dealer (2 quotes so far, both well upwards of £300 for what is basically an oil change and inspection), l'm looking for a good independant specialist near Basingstoke (home) or Reading (work).

So far a search has found Frog Island in Abingdon and Keith Gott in Alton. Anyone had any experience of these companies or suggest any others please?

I used Frogs Island in Abingdon a few years ago when I had my Mk1. Now that I've just got my second one, I'll certainly look to using them again as I was more than happy with their services.

Ben I would keep to using Harwoods as you know exactly what you are getting there. I have always found them to be perfect when looking after my Jag or Freelander 2. Sometimes cheap is not always best remember that
