Wheel Nut Torque? What should it be?

Can't see it in manual or on a search on here.

Any guidance appreciated, as google found 140Nm for Disco3/Range Sport

Australia 2010 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Santorini Black

Stud Size________Torque Ft/Lbs_________Number of turn of hardware engagement

12 x 1.5 mm________70 - 80_______________6.5
12 x 1.25 mm_______70 - 80________________8
14 x 1.5 mm________85 - 90_______________7.5 (Land Rover Freelander 2 Stud size M14 x 1.5 Rolling Eyes )
14 x 1.25 mm________85 - 90______________9

When installing new wheels you should re-torque the wheel lugs after driving the first 50 to 100 miles in case the clamping loads have changed following the initial installation. This is necessary due to the possibility of metal compression/elongation or thermal stresses affecting the wheels as they are breaking in, as well as to verify the accuracy of the original installation. When rechecking torque value, wait for the wheels to cool to ambient temperature (never torque a hot wheel). Loosen and retighten to value, in sequence. Simply repeat the same torque procedure listed above.

90 Ft/Lbs = 122 Nm

Hopes it helps.

Thanks for the correct info.

Because I am going to put a set of 25mm H&R wheel spacer to all four corner. D.I.Y so the info really helps. Thumbs Up

If you loosen the bolts before retightning and checking don't you need to do it again after another 50 miles and so on. I recheck the bolt torque without loosening. This way you only need to do it once.
