Need to change a pair or tyres - best to fit new on front or rear? Saw a poster in ATS last week when getting lease van tyres changed saying to fit the better tyres to the rear

I just had fronts changed, Kwik Fit said there was no need to swap fronts to rear etc

where as when i have used costco in the past they always did do it and I think there is (or was) a video on mitchelins website show what the difference could be by having less grip on the rear

I am sure the video will have been hyped up a little, using water to lessen the grip and having really bald tyres on the rear, stunt drivers etc to show the worst that could happen Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

2 new tyres go on the rear, which is standard practice on a 4x4 and always has been. ______________________
