Kahndesign body kit for FL2

I came across this on the net. Personally I like it but I know it wont be to everyones taste. If you are interested the website is www.kahndesign.com

Cost I think is in the regoin of £6,000 for the lot including exhausts and wheels.

D'you know what, I was so ready to hate that car... after what they did to the Disco Evil or Very Mad

But actually, that's not too bad. Not sure about the lower vents on the front spoiler, but I think the wheels look okay (they're not too OTT) and the side skirts are quite smart too. The colour coding works too.

Still - I'd have an HSE over that Thumbs Up

EDIT: Just seen the back of it - that does look good Cool "CY from DISCO3"

And here is the back. Think the exhaust pipes are a bit to visible.

Looks like a standard land rover sports body kit, with some cheap tacky wheels and a couple of exhaust finishers. Not worth £6k ever! If youre going to do it, stick to genuine parts, and the 19" shadow chrome alloys - like mine! Cool Freelander2 2.2 TD4 HSE, All Black, Full Sports body kit, Black side bars, Shadow Chrome 19"'s, Shadow Chrome Mirror Covers, F & R Lamp Guards, Privacy glass.

I agree, look very much like the FL2 full body kit, theres one driving around near me, and one of the sales staff drive one at my local dealer.

I'm sure i'll be visiting them soon nowing my luck with this car i'll see if i can get a picture.

This is just a standard body kit, with horrid wheels and a tacky exhaust.

Total Chav....hate chaved up car's, they look like what they are chaved up. Some vehicles do look good with extra's like AMG Merc's, RRS HRT's etc

Originally I wanted the body kit but now all I would do given the cash and want to do it given that you never get your money back is have tinted rear windows, the LR 19" smoke wheels and possibly side steps, but not so sure about those even.

I had the window tints done, keeps the car cooler in summer, and with the cars windows been at eye level it is harder for those chavs to look in to see what they can help themselves too

Did you get them done aftermarket? I'm waiting for a quote for pentagon, maybe also get their SupaGlass which does a very impressive job of making the windows break-proof to your average chav.

I had my done as part of the deal when I purchased the car (a low mileage ex demo), they did want £300 and i got them down to £100, but they wanted me to wait until the chap they use was in branch doing another car.

I didn't want to wait till then (no date given by them) so I actually paid £250 to get it done for the collection.

Though I did get a free towbar with twin electrics, so i didn't mind paying the extra.

BTW: they used down the coating method, not the tint film method.

I don't see the point in the supaguard glass, they will try and break the glass, so they would have damaged it anyway, so would still need to be replaced

Don't like the body kits as people have said they look a too Chav!! Do it to a Rav 4 not an FL2.

Sometimes "less is more", see my gallery with just the rear spoiler and the side pipese and blacked out windows.

I also use the "less is more" statement to wife Laughing Laughing Embarassed Rolling with laughter seems to have convinced her Cool
