They often hunt around the poultry sheds looking for rats and mice. I get an annual food assurance inspection and the auditor always wants to see records of rat poisons used in the year, He never quite believes me when I tell him 'owls kill the vermin so poisons are not needed' At work |

The box possibly saved 'owl face' from further damage he/she landed on it, good job I didnt tidy it out of the flower bed.
