Lowering car height

May sound stupid, but has anyone tried lowering their suspensions? I got thinking that I wasn't going to go off road much, so thought lowering it might make it drive better, eg. less body roll.

Only a new set of springs and shock absorbers will give you the desired ride height and body roll.
But beware of the new drivetrain's geometry because the geometry will be considerably different... Tune it accordingly.

Lowering a Freelander Exclamation , in some peoples mind (mine) thats heresy - they used to burn people at the stake not too many years ago for that Surprised

I recently drove a normal car ( dads E class) for the first time in ages and find the low ride disconcerting and didn't like having to climb out of the car. I did like the 3.2 engine though Very Happy At work
