squeeky clutch pedal

Jut drove my fl2 today and noticed a realy irritating squeek as i start to press the clutch pedal down. It only happens for the first 2-3 inches of travel and back again. Go past this then all is fine.
I was just wondering if any one else has experianced this and did you get it fixed ???
I have lubricated all the moving parts but it still prevails, any ideas Confused

I don't have this problem yet, but used to have it on my Disco, and it was a return spring on the clutch pedal that seemed to dry out and squeak.

I used to spray it with WD40 now and again.

I've had this problem from new (18months) and it's just part of the car noise, dealer said nothing wrong so I can't do anything about it, You can't hear it when the radio is turned up!

mine too.... it's squeeky when pressed and a bit creeky when been released or held at biting point, it's made of plastic! the others are metal, this might be a factor? the dealer greased it at service but it's back now and wd40 isn't doing much. any other ideas been sucessful.

Sell it telling the buyer that comes to see it that it has the new LR "Ferrari designed clutch pedal spring race damping actuator' fitted or some such sh Censored t.

When they press the clutch pedal on the test drive say "There! d'you hear it actuating??!?"

Then buy a new one.

2007 Manual. Mine squeaked as well. Raised it with dealer when investigating another issue. Squeak was cured. Don't know how but there was a faint smell of maintenance oil inside the car so I guess they sprayed with WD40 or similar. Have done about 1000 miles since and squeak has not yet returned but won't be surprised if it does.
