Interesting: FL1 £750 sounds a bit heavy.

Here in Switzerland you get 3yrs (100k kms) warranty on all parts n labour + annual servicing inc parts n labour and consumables like brake pads, wiper blades, oil etc., also EU27 travel insurance [car n occupants] with roadside assistance etc. on a new FL2. After 3yrs the extended warranty comes into play for years 4 & 5 (but currently not beyond) at approximately UK£590 per year and it covers all the same items as in the first 3yrs of ownership. One important exclusion in all of that is that it does not cover recovery if you are "off" the public highway!

However, here in CH you pay a lot more for your new Land Rover / Range Rover model than in the UK.

Took out the Landrover extended warranty (1 year). If you take this without the landrover assistance then it is now £535, or £53.50 paid over 10 months by direct debit and intrest free. You will get the best level if your car has under 45000 miles at time of taking out the cover which is very close to the manufacturers warranty but does not include paint/corrosion and things like DVD if fitted. If your car has more than 45000 then some items are not covered.

Had mine for two weeks and the radio stopped working. Went back to the dealer 3 times before was fixed so I think it has been very worth while so far.

Just a note, www.warrantywise.co.uk worked out more expensive once you had added on the equivalent extra bits of cover.
