IMPORTANT NOTICE

Unfortunately I have made the decision to opt out of an official meet on 24th July. Numbers on both sites were fairly small, and unfortunately there is no one available to look after the 'cruise' and meeting point in the south.

Anyone is welcome to meet at LPR on the day, just let me know so that I can keep myself free.

Apologies, but I guess with holidays etc it was a difficult time to get everyone together.

There will be a combined FL2 and RRS meet on Saturday 24th July. Format is being put together over the next few weeks, however it's likely to start with a meet at Lookers then a run through the countryside, ending with a picnic en-mass somewhere around the Sailsbury area.

Please feel free to sign up if you would like to come along and I will update this thread with more info soon.

Sadly this looks like it is not going to happen (90% sure I'd say). No one has stepped forward to arrange and look after the 2nd meeting point after the LPR meet, therefore as we are only 3 weeks away, it is looking rocky (excuse the pun).

I will see if anyone comes forward over the weekend, and if anyone feels strongly about it going ahead then I am more than happy to host a car-park meet at LPR, however from experience you need a bit more than that to make a decent forum meet.

It's a shame, but I guess the summer holiday period is a tricky time to get decent numbers.

Will keep you posted.
