Am i right in saying that RHD cars have their lights dipped down and to the left, hence the need to deflect the beam back to the centre when driving on the right, but the LHD cars are only dipped down so need no modification is needed for driving on the left?

I don't think so. The pattern is exactly opposite of what you should have on yours. Mine has a pattern to down and right, hence we need to see the signs at the right side of the road. 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone

Pattern will be adjusted by moving the leaver to flat beam, not asymetric (kick up of light to the kerb side). Perfectly legal for MOT and will not blind on coming drivers Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Freelander 2.2e HSE , Privacy, Fully debadged, 19" Chrome SHadow alloys
