Hi again,

Just bought my first FL2 and although two years old the SAT NAV has never been used. I opened the DVD box thinking all I had to do was to insert the GB disc. No such luck and DVD was ejected. I'm sure ther must be a user manual but the Dealer I bought the car from did not include a user manual when he handed over. I feel sure there must be a way of purchasing a copy At a reasonable cost though!

All you need below FOC. But I don't understand why the disc was rejected, I know this may sound daft but you did put it in the unit under the drivers seat and not in the cd player, just a thought?

To answer your question. I inserted DVD in slot under SAT NAV screen. I have yet to discover the unit under the front seat. Only had the car a few hours but delighted so far.

Arh, I thouught so, open the offside passenger door and look under the drivers seat, there is a little switch which slides to one side to unlock the unit. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

I will investigate the box under the front seat later today. Does this box also house the six cd multichanger and should I leave the SAT NAV dvd in the unit?

I have never been lucky enough to own such a sophisticated car and my learning curve is not helped by the complete lack of manuals. I thought the owners manual was all that was available.

6 cd changer is the one under the sat nav screen. DVD player under front seat is the one for the sat nav dvd only.

To ,nsert multiple cd's isert one, push button 2 for example, the player will change to second slot, insert second cd, etc.

After you have inserted the sat nav dvd to the underseat dvd unit, if you still do not see the navigation menu get back to the dealers. Mine had that problem and they have fixed it within 1/2 hour at the dealers, must be a software issue. 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone
