Did you know that you inherently fill your tyres with 80% nitrogen...its called air. The additional 20% is hardly going to be noticeable, maybe eat one less muffin for breakfast should do the trick |

In case you are not aware, the vast majority of aircraft tyres are filled with Nitrogen, for the following reasons: Nitrogen does not hold moisture and so wheel corrosion is eliminated. Nitrogen gives a more constant volume than air when there are changes in altitude or temperature. Nitrogen is inert and, therefore, does not accelerate any fire.

I had it on my last car, and I agree that the pressure holds longer, but they hadn't charged me anything for it, I just learnt it after they put it in.
