This is probably a bit petty, but after reading posts about LR's and certain dealers poor customer service I thought this may be relevant.
When we picked up our new FL2 in February this year we didnt get any keyrings. Salesman said they had run out and would post me a couple when they got them.
Fine I am not going to make a fuss about something trivial like this.
2 months have now passed, I have emailed the salesman with 2 referalls, my sister wants a Disco and my neighbour is replacing his FL2.
Whilst emailing the salesman I politely asked him if there was any news on the keyrings? I actually thought that after giving him 2 sales this may jog his memory and he may like to send me a couple of keyrings as commision!
Still no keyrings! They havent got any, do you believe that?
I do find it hard to believe that on March 1st this dealer probably sold a lot of cars and they all left without keyrings.
I wonder if I had bought a 90k Range Rover if I would have got a keyring?
Our FL2 at 28.5k is probably chicken feed to the dealer, but it was a big purchase for us, and a nice Green and Gold LR key ring would have been a nice finishing touch.
I am in the Motor Trade and dont like to moan for such petty reasons, but a £2 gesture for my custom would go a long way.
Otherwise the salesman and FL2 have been great and we love the car.

I think we would all agree with you on this and I'm sorry to say it does GENERALLY seem to sum dealers up!

Different dealers, different standards it seems..... we got 2 x key rings and 2 x LR brollies, salesman gave me his mobile telling me to get in touch with him for anything that we aren't happy with... I'll ask him if he can spare a couple of extra keyrings if you like Fletch.

i got 2 keyrings,a lr brolly,a lr pen & A FULL TANK OF FUEL
i did give him some nice steaks & stuff from my butchers though  land rover freelander 2 xs. santorini black.

leather pack (inc memory seats, armrests & mats) 6 disc changer.
rear spoilers(top & bottom,)chrome exhaust finisher.

I was told 2 key rings would be in the post, waited 4 weeks and nothing, drove to the dealer and he said sorry and gave me the 2 key rings. They are Dark Blue with with the Go Beyond logo.

He could have done what he said he would do. ______________________
