At the moment I would definitely recommend them.

Service is not bad, just don t let them wash your car, they scratched mine and then denied it claiming it was like it when it came in!

I bought a FL 1 from this lot approx 18 months ago, wot a bunch of muppets, on collection there were wires hanging down in the passengers foot well, interior lights didn't work, brakes made horrid noise, so much for 115 point check!
Having to book a car in for repair before even starting it on collection isn't good.
The sales manager was rude and I felt very unwelcome each time I had to call them, the only plus was they took the car back after 6 weeks and gave me a full refund, no apology offered, when I left I swore I would never return, and I have now bought a FL 2 but not from them, had they been a bit more polite and helpful then they would be a few K up on sales figures this month, but I went to another LR dealer instead.

I bought mine from them (used) and have been very happy so far with sales and service performance. Their used prices seemed to be lower than most (why I went there) but their servicing prices are definitely top-end. And they haven't even offered me an Experience day.

Bought Mrs Jim's FL2 from Marshalls of Bedford back in November 2011.

It was an ex demo and I believe that I obtained a good deal. I did get the feeling that they could be rip off merchants if you let them take advantage of you.

When I came to buy my RRS (ordered in January 2012) I asked the salesman at Marshalls, who had supplied the FL2, for his best price. I then went to Statstones in Milton Keynes and they IMMEDIATELY beat his quote by 3000 GBPs and threw in a tank of fuel, free mats and privacy glass without me even having to haggle or ask for them.

Guess who I bought through????

I may use Marshalls in the future, but to be honest they didn't appear to want to build any sort of client relationship with me, all they could see were pound signs.........

If they are like most dealers, their new and second-hand sales are dealt with by different people, which may explain some of the above. Interestingly though, they seem to deal with quite a wide area - was talking to one of their drivers who said they do a lot of new vehicle deliveries up to the north west, so they must have something going for them.
