Good, I've had a word with the CC of Yorkshire. He was most interested, especially when I told him the kerb had been damaged. He told me to leave it with him and the bracelets would be on Pinky in no time, by the time he got out of jail, white would be yesterdays colour. Said he sounds a right bad egg and not the sort of person he'd like to come across on a dark night.

Laughing I don't think kerbed the wheel on a kerb whilst driving slowly is anything to worry about Wink

I think you are already! The phone goes, a knock at the door.... you jump out of your skin. Is it the boys in blue?

Oh, the shame of it, Crying or Very sad a moderator on here with a previous conviction. What is the word coming to? Do you have to make a disclosure to Martin?

I did see Midnight Express! Good enough for Pinkie! Just watch out for the rather large warden. He's coming for you.Shocked

Mind you we have an admission of Kerb Crawling - dirty, dirty, dirty! A Vandal and a Sex Offender now.

might aswell laugh about it

what's done is done at end of the day it's only a wheel

standing back it's not that visible when looking

never know a odd wheel in better condition might pop up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

You could always brag to others that you were rock crawling it in Snowdon when you scuffed it on a large boulder! You know a war wound rather than just plain carelessness when reversing it onto a main road on a housing estate.

good idea Idea

Well it either looks like a replacement wheel, a full strip down and respray for £100, buy a new set of alloys or leave it and tell all of my offroading exploits Laughing

Just been to my smart repair guy and due to the shadow chrome it will not blend in 100% perfect as you have to black coat first, then top with silver, too much its too silver, too little its too black

and i keep thinking Smoked Chrome would look nice on a white car (more grey than silver)

I thinks a few more should take your lead pinkie and scrape more Chromium off their cars - now then, you've started a trend!!! How does it feel!!! Laughing

Censored - my condolences. I bet it was one of those slow motion moments!!

As my dad aways said - don't worry son - its only a peice of metal (I'd managed to get his Cortina stuck on the gatepost! and i think he was being sarcastic!) There's always a way forward!

2011 Freelander Td4 GS 150 - Rimini Red - in its place - Better x far x 4!!
