Where does your fuel filler drain go

My drain tube for the fuel filler neck recess (under the flap) stays behind the wheelarch liner and then lies at the bottom where the liner meets the wing panel (mud flap area) with the open end facing the centre of the vehicle.

Others I have seen come out of the liner by the supension strut and sit facing down to the ground in a clip but I only had a fixing for the wheelarch liner anywhere near there. I asked my Stealer to look at it and he said it's fine. I keep looking at others but have not seen any like mine.

Has anybody else got a pipe routed like mine? Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red
