Gaydon 14/07/06

Spotted a top spec (petrol HSE?) and lower spec FL2 at the Gaydon track today, doing laps of the emissions circuit Smile

The orange colour as on the FL2 in the site header is apparently called "Tahoma Orange" and is a launch colour along with "Stornoway Grey". The car definitely suits the top spec grille better, the lower spec grille looks a bit awkward Confused

Looked very very good on the track Cool

Also saw a dark green example parked up closer to the RRS 'centre', some very nice details on the bodywork, the side vents are very smart and the handle on the rear tailgate is deeply stamped with "LAND ROVER". The C pillar has also retained the inset LR badge from the previous model which is a nice touch Smile

Very, very nice Very Happy

Tahoma Orange is a great colour and really suits the shape of the FL2, it looks much better 'in the flesh' than in the photos Smile

You're right in one way that a green one is a bitch to keep clean (I have an Hippo in Epsom green) but no matter the color to make me loose my sense of humour, quite the contrary, once I get into my FL1 I feel myself the luckiest guy on earth. will

Will - the colour quip was a bit of an in joke - we saw a green one at Gaydon and when the driver was about to drive off I told him he couldn't because I hadn't finished looking at it, not even a smirk from the guy! RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE Zambezi silver, Alpaca, Privicy Glass, Sun roof, PTI, Tasmod's sills, DVD for the offspring, Sex on wheels!
