Landrover have obviously found that during last year the uptake on customers upgrading their HSE standard alloys to one of the two 19" sets on the low side as they were sent out on a disposal list to dealers cheap though I suspect this is because like all their other accessories were far too expensive but Does anyone know why (so I was told) that Landrover apparently put tyre pressure monitors in the tyres when the system isn't fitted to the car?

The above isn't a problem until you want to buy a set (as I did want to but didn't do it) advertised on ebay from 2 Landrover dealers but then ask your local dealer to fit them & you get told they are not UK spec!! I ask what that means & was told that the advertised wheels are US/European spec @ 315MHZ on the tyre pressure monitors where the UK is 433MHZ (even though it isn't fitted lol) but if you fit them & have a problem with either the wheel or tyre Landrover won't pay out on warranty = rip off in my eyes!
