I am a member of another forum http://www.mini2.com/ and find that when floating the cursor over a post it allows you to see the detail without actually opening the post.

I find this facility very useful and makes it easier to navigate to topics of interest.

I do not know what would be involved to create this facilty, but it would certainly be a benefit to users.

shows the first few lines of the post in a little popup cursor box

Its something that martin would have to look at and answer,
