Tyres!!!

i'm having issues with replacing the 215 75 r16 tyres required for my freelander2, people want to sell me van tyres! one tyre dealer told me that they were an odd size and they should all be replaced with a slightly lower profile, anyone else had this?

You should be able to get Conti Contact M/S no problem.

CG means that he should buy tyres already on wheels. It's true that you can get a set of wheels with new tyres for less than just the tyres!! I've done it. 16" rims are good to have for putting winter/AT tyres on. Get some 17" for summer.

A low profile of tyres is better for a cars controllability.
A high profile is better for driving on bad roads.

Got conti contact m&s for £102 each, took a far amount of ringing round, it is a rare size, my tyre dealer said cheaper brands may become available when demand increases, ie when the FL2 gets a little older.
