New dash section above glove box

My FL2 is the 2010 model with aluminium effect interior. Last week I noticed someone had accidently scratched the aluminium bit running along above the glove compartment. Is it possible to order just his bit?

Well I guess you can order any part for the car so yes is the answer but clearly it's a main dealer phone call/visit. There are sponsers of this site who I know from experience give us good discount - so try them first. How bad is the scratch..... you are aware of the fact that as it has a Landrover logo hidden behind it somewhere it's going to cost an arm and a leg so you better send your wife/daughter/next door neighbour (Delete as appropriate) out on the street now in order to pay for it Laughing

Bet it's cheaper to buy the full kit than a single part, Earlier this year i found my wheel nut adapter thingy was missing and despite knowing the type needed it was cheaper to get a complete set of nuts and adapter go figure!

Thanks for the info, after enlarging the photos in eBay, it looks like I'm after either one of the two long bits. I'll contact the sponsors to see if they do just the individual part, if not or costs a bomb, £95 from eBay ain't too bad I guess.

I have a new silver bit your after. I purchased a new LR trim kit. It came with two long glove compartment trims. One I used and the other I didn't. no doubt there was a subtle difference between the two. PM me a reasonable offer and I can send you it on Monday.

No one ever categorically told me why there are two pieces; it's the same with the wood kit. I suspect that one of the pieces is for cars that do not already have a trim piece whereas the other is for cars that already have some sort of trim there. I found out that the best way of choosing which one to fit is by looking at the outside end nearest the door and make sure the trim edge covers all the bit underneath - not easy to explain, but see my gallery picture
Also the long edge shouldn't be too proud of the glove box
