Anyway, I know I'm right.

Tis Christmas, so goodwill to all men and all that b Censored s Thumbs Up

Your wrong Dave (as usual) Rolling Eyes and there is NO goodwill at Christmas Laughing .

However I apologise for earlier referring too PDC instead of PTC - However any logical thinking person would realise that I and CG typed PDC by mistake and as every knowledgeable logical thinking person (with the exception of Dave) would realise that PDC is the Park Distance Control and nothing to do with heating.

That said, we need to define what PTC really is - PTC stands for POSITIVE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT which is a part of the electrical circuit for the Supplementary Cabin Heater. The question is if this is operated automatically or manually. Dave is quite wrong when he insists that it is turned on by the PROG button , because this is only a demist function that operates the front and rear heated screens and turns the demist to full blast on the front screen and front side windows. Unfortunately our owners bible does not tell how the PTC actually functions, so without further arguing we should shut the F Censored up and find out how and when the PTC really functions. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
