Feel sure I've seen an article about parking an auto on a slope so that you don't get that stiffnes and horrid clunk when engaging reverse. Mind you I spent 3 minutes by the shed door and still couldn't remember what I went there for.

I asked about it

Rudyardgoing - Speaking with experience, it took Mrs Strut a few attemps to get the procedure right but she will get there in the end Then she'll complain that she can't get the hand brake off
