Yours probably wore out with the amount of pen lines and remarks written on it by mechanics |

It only to write on paint thickness so wheels don't matter |

Got your hands on a paint thickness gauge? - which one did you go for if you don't mind me asking? Was thinking of getting one myself after i get the G220... Cheers Steve 2008 SE, HSE wheels, Black Premium Leather, Privacy Glass, Sports Kit, Side Steps, various LED upgrades and Clear side indicators. |

To know how much clear coat there is when machine polishing a car so you don't strike through and need a respray |

Polish - Is this the stuff some car users use to try and protect their paintwork? I use a liberal coating of mud and go off-roading if I can see the colour of the paint coming through! Now has a coat of the finest French mud from last weeks expedition to The Somme. mole |

ER A dab of turtle wax and a bit of elbow grease is all my Freely gets once in a while, and so far no scatches or swirl marks in the clear coat Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
