2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

Replacing the front amber light with a LED

I replaced the front signal light with a LED and without the amber shade it looks very nice.

I had to attach a resistor to prevent double flashing (22 Ohm 10W) and used a 36 LED bulb and seems to be bright and visible enough. Reflection from the flash has made the turn signal area white but its just not white like that but just don’t have the usual amber shade that you see when you have the orange bulb inside. Not sure if it is legal to not have a amber indicator on the front, even so it will make it difficult for others to see when your lights are on. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
