Door pillar airbags - made of marzipan??

Just noticed that the panel on the inside of the door pillar is wearing badly due to the seat belt being pulled out.

It has worn some nasty grooves on drivers and passenger side.

Seems quite poor for a 29k mile vehicle?

I have put some pics in my gallery but they havnt uploaded yet.

Any one else having this problem? Sad
