England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Rimini Red
Time for a change

Sadly after 60,000 miles and nearly three years my Rimini red GS manual has got to go Sad
......so ..............
I've just ordered a new GS Auto in Rimini red, well there just isn't any competition really is there?? Very Happy

it will have to wait until after our Hotel holiday next week and our Cruise next month Whistle

England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Rimini Red

Traded a GS Manual for a GS auto traded with towbar and roofrails and got them on the new one so only difference is the Auto box
The auto comes out at about 1500 notes, the cost to change is £13,500 so actual loss over three years is £12,000 or just under 50%, I can live with that especially after 60,000 miles

Good luck with the new car. Glad to see your going for the auto box. I would go for the Rimini Red also.
How is the clutch after all the towing you have done? That is a concern to me having a manual. If I can get 60K out of it I will be very happy.

Clutch is absolutely fine have only done about 15,000 miles towing, been over the alps towing 4 times and have never had any smelling, burning etc just fancied an auto for a change

Picked up new car today, main changes to GS spec since 2007 seem to be puddle lights, footwell lights,Alpine stereo, bluetooth phone with steering wheel controls,rear audio controls and new seats, now have to decide which colour leather to get

Decided on Ivory nappa leather with ivory stitching to lighten up the interior, same pattern as my last one (see Gallery ) and getting the Seat Surgeons to do it again as they made a superb job last time. Will post pics whe done. Very Happy
