Hi all,

I’ve been registered here for some time now, but have been waiting before making my first post.

There’s great excitement around here today, as tomorrow (Sat 12) is ”Freddy Day” !

Our silver HSE Freelander “Freddy” will be coming to his new home, to take his place along with the rest of the LR Fleet.

It’ll be my wife’s car, who for as long as I know her, has wanted a Freelander, so you can imagine the excitement & I just had to share the news.

I look forward to participating in another of Martin’s forums, now that we are qualified Freelander owners. If this forum is anything like the D3 & RRS forums, there’s sure to be fun times ahead.

Hi Freddy, Congratulations......it's a boy!!! its almost like having a baby ......only this is pleasurable, and the only sleep lost is with excitement rather than breast feeding. Good luck and safe driving!!

My new black gs not ready till 1 September and we're already having name discussions!!
I've even got the baby names book out that I read trying to name my son!!

My FL1 was called 'Florence' thanks to our daughter, but my son insisted that he named the new one and since it is Stornaway Grey he decided 'Foggy'was a good name, thank god we didn't order the Disco 3 cause he wanted to call it 'Disco Dave'.....if that wasn't reason enough to order a FL2...sorry to any Dave's...no insult mean't honest

Well ”Freddy” has arrived & is home.

Herself is going around grinning from ear to ear, absolutely thrilled.

Good idea about photos, Martin I’ll post some later in the week at the office where I have broadband unlike the “Dinosaur Dial-up I’m stuck with here at home.

I put the banner on the pics as I was experimenting with watermarks in photo shop. I never meant the watermark to stay on the pictures for this site, but then never got around to changing them.

Unfortunately they are hosted on a third party site, as I cannot get any pictures to load into my gallery here at “Freel2” despite myself & Martin working the problem for a few hours one Saturday afternoon.

I only have dial up internet here at home for the weekend, but I’ll be in the office on Monday where I have broadband. So I’ll reload the pictures to ones without the watermark.
