CG to be silenced for a while

Been to the hospital today for X-rays. I need my wisdom teeth removing under general anaesthetic. The doc said they are very deep and I probably wont put him on my xmas list after the op Neutral

Mrs G isnt on my xmas list today either, after opening the fl2's door onto a high kerb and knocking the plastic trim off Evil or Very Mad luckily it just clipped back on again though At work

big op having your wisdom teeth out at your age, they dislocate your jaw i was told, causes lots of bruising and discomfort, whilst your out they also have a peek at your Whistle too, and laugh at it too when your under a under GA Laughing

I had mine out at my dentist when i was 18, though

last year i was having really bad sore feeling in my jaw/gum where the teeth used to be, one day after prodding it i felt something hard in the gum were it felt like i had cut my gum eating a crisp or something and a day or too later i was prodding it again and something came out, and all the pain instantly went away, which in it self was a really strange feeling.

I spat out the hard bit of stuff that came out and it was exacly like a piece of small tooth, colour hardness and took it to the dentist who said it was quite possible that it was a fragment of wisdom tooth

hope it goes well Rolling with laughter Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

On my 11th birthday I went to have 4 of 10 stubborn milk teeth pulled out, When I woke from the gas, the dentist said things went so well he had pulled all 10 of them out. Shocked At work

When I was a student I found my time in the dental theatre amazing! You should see some of the tools they have! There was this really big chisel, and hammers and....

Good luck Laughing Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Yes Yes they are going to mess me up and bruise me Evil or Very Mad but anything is better than the constant wisdom tooth flair ups that I keep getting. The first offered appointment was in two weeks time but I refused it because I'm a coward...or because I have lots of work to do on the farm. But in November time I have no excuses so I will go under the chisel then Neutral
The doc did warn me that its going to be one of their tougher challenges Sad If I do nothing the cysts under the wisdom teeth may infect my good teeth leading to more and more problems, requiring bigger and bigger chisels Shocked .

Still at least, it could be worse- I could have recently spent £1000's on a white Freelander Wink At work

It will be interesting to see how losing wisdom teeth affects your wisdom generally. If they take all of them you might be a vanner by the new year perhaps?

I had two out a couple of years ago. Said I wanted a general as I was shi Censored ing myself.

They gave me a local, then proceeded to hammer some thing into the teeth to split them then pulled the bits out with plier type things. Nice!

A month later I had an op on my eye with local and I will never forget the image of a needle coming towards my eyeball.....

Eyes and teeth BURRAGGHHHHHHHH Shocked
