Hi, as the title suggests I need some help/advice with gaining access to fit a new EPB switch (2013 SD4 HSE Auto)

I have removed all the screws from the tunnel console, inc the ones in the back and under the gear lever gaiter. The console is free and I can move it backwards maybe about 30mm and it will lift but not a great distance. I suspect the wiring for various items my be restricting any further movement.

However, I have notice that top of the console can be detached creating access to the switch. I have removed 2 screws and the back and 4 from the front, the top section now lifts at the front and back but its still held firm in the area between the seats. I have examined the area and cannot find any more screws and have tried a little more than gently lifting force but it wont budge.

What am I missing ???

Not done this job myself but suggests you type ‘Remove EPB switch’ into to Search function box above..
