Bought the service kit for our MY2010 GS from Advanced Factors….

Checking contents before starting, the sump plug and washer is different from their image and the images I have found on the forum so far, see image, it comes with a rubber o ring seal, not a copper washer as you can see, very different from what I was expecting…….





Before I drop the oil etc, can anyone confirm if the newly supplied plug will do the job, is this a later ‘improvement’?

Or have Advanced Factors up?

I too reuse the sump plug and just anneal the copper washer after smoothing it on emery paper. Jules
