Authentic 1989 CWC G10 UK Military Watch, commissioned by the British Ministry of Defence. Known for its compact size and simple yet functional design, it has gained a strong following.

The case has a matte finish and the dial includes the classic “T” marking indicating tritium lume. The case back is engraved with the official NATO military code (0552/6645-99) and the Broad Arrow mark

England 2007 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

These were always known as G1098 watches when I served - admittedly many decades ago!

Form G1098 was what you had to sign when issued with kit. I guess it was shortened to G10 somewhere along the line.

For myself, I never bothered with these watches as they did not have a date, which I find very useful on a watch, even now. I also liked to have an integrated stop-watch, as I used that a good deal, especially on the shooting range.
