South Africa 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Whistler White
Fl2 td4 2007 auto stalls randomly

Good evening everybody. First time poster but has been using the forum extensively to sort out minor issues on the old girl. She is old with 458900km (285147 miles) on her clock. I know that this topic has been covered many times but with all the solutions offered I'm still stuck with the same issue.
Car died at the traffic light on the way home from work. Started immediately and I carried on driving and then it happened again as I pulled into the driveway. Codes that appear on my cheap scanner is P0201 up to P0204. If I clear the codes it will not reappear until the car dies again.

What have I observed so far:
when the engine dies, the ignition stays on but it will not start if I press the button (I have to switch the ignition off and then start the car. It will start up immediately),
when attempting to start the engine without switching the car off first, I have the same fuel pressure in the rail as when the car would start, not a fuel pressure issue then. Also, cranking shows 200+ rpm which rules out crankshaft sensor, if I'm correct,
The loom under the air filter is still intact with no damage to the loom itself,
Egr is blanked off,
No air in the fuel line.

What have I replaced so far:
Fuel filter bought from a LR dealer,
Crankshaft sensor from a local auto shop. Reinstalled the old one when the engine cut out with the new one installed.

Sorry for the lengthy post but I thought I'll give as much info as possible. Hopefully someone out there had the same issue and ould shed some light.

Thanks in advance
Nolan
