Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Jumping out of gear on the motorway

Hello everyone,

My car has decided to develop a fault its a Freelander 2 TD4 Manual (New Landover clutch and recon gearbox from Bells 18 months ago) and its Jumping out of gear on the Motorway, Only happens in 6th gear.

Has anyone come across this before?

France 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Lago Grey

Hello, I have the same problem this days, the 6th gear is popping out to neutral position only over 120km/h, the flywheel and clutch are new replaced.the gearbox oil is replaced too. Any body meets the same problem and found the solution

As the gearbox came from the 'Ford' era, try goggling Freelander/Ford Manual Gearbox problems.
Most seem to say check Linkage before embarking on Gearbox overhaul.
