Rear Wiper motor replacement - which part?

My rear wiper motor has filled with impacted grease and stopped working. (Freelander 2 2014 model) - chassis number suggests I need the later motor if I want to replace rather than clean out and repair.

I've dismantled the old one and gallantly removed the motor from the housing, only to be presented by two well worn bushes coming loose and like a fool I don't know where they came from. Possibly the underside of the yellow geared wheel or possibly somewhere else. Two more are still present in the motor itself.

I'm prepared to pay £125 for a new Valeo one but that says it's for models up to chassis CH999999 and mine is a later one. The only one I can find for a 2014 model is the LR part which is £250.

So.... can I fit an earlier motor to a later chassis number?

And does anyone know where the bushes go back into if I decide to clean up rather than replace?

Thanks

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Zermatt Silver

I bought one of these from eBay last year, states it fits 2006 - 2014.

Mine is a 2007 model, working perfectly so far, and only £30 complete. A few minutes to fit.

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Firenze Red

I tried the earlier part on my 64 plate metropolis and it didn't park properly instead stopping mid sweep.

I think you'll need to bite the bullet and buy the land rover part Life's too short, enjoy yourself
