Yes definitely caught it in the nick of time. Disappointingly, the garage didn’t make it easy at all, and I had half an hour of awkward and stressful discussion before they accepted some responsibility.
But they came through in the end, and I will still use them and recommend them.

BTW- thanks for the EGR details you put together. Had to change that some months ago, and the pictures really helped.
