When we had 4 new shocks and springs fitted to our Freelander 2 (along with a lift kit), we noticed absolutely 0 difference in not having them on the car. Sure, I'm sure there is a certain frequency of vibration that they cancel out when the car leaves the showroom. After that when everything is "bedded in", I can imagine there is lots of additional vibrations that subtlety creep in as the car ages which will overrule that 1 vibration that they are there to cancel out. |
