If you are getting no Dashboard indications of 'S' or any Gear Numbers, then it must be loss of signals from the selector area or damage to wiring/plug, OR (most likely) Sensors.

Thanks, I have changed the gearstick as a whole no difference so I think I will look at the loom and the traction control.
