Belt change time….

Have order the bits from advanced factors, site sponsor, to change both belts, water pump, tensioners etc, my first FL, so going to be taking it slowly, but can anyone with experience suggest what else it makes sense to do at the same time….. I have a cunning plan.....!

Check the power steering pipes as they go into the steering rack they can rust on the bends a leak.

Just had the belts done on both my FL2s Local lad (Tom) did mine i usually do them my self, but because i was not up to it i got him to do them, i already had the belts kit gates and water pump.

Cost was £200 for each FL if he supplies the kit its £325 mobile local to Staffordshire

Will check them out, thanks.

That’s a good price, but he’s a bit far from me. All garages round here want £500+, so decided that as I’m time rich, cash poor, I should have a go at doing it myself, how hard can it be!
Also got the gates kit on its way.
Also have had to order trolley jack, axle stands as this is the first car I’ve owned and been paying for for many many years. I have a cunning plan.....!

It's a ford/peurgeot engine so most spanner weilders can do and shouldn't be to expensive,
but as said plenty on youtube to follow if you feel a need. Thumbs Up DAVE.
