I passed a camouflaged Defender last Friday. Noticed it was on a "24" plate. First thing I thought was an "all electric Defender on test, perhaps". It was wearing the usual Land Rover Camouflage, but the headlights were fully exposed and it was definitely a Defender rather than this new "Sport" version. I'll go through my dash cam footage and try and find it and post a pic - unless it's been deleted. |

I have often wondered why the Car Makers use this 'Camouflage?' covering.

It’s so that you can’t make out what the details of the shape is like in photos I believe. |

To stop motoring press giving away too many details of new cars before their official launch. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

If anyone wants to see some of the prototype Land Rovers then a good handful have been saved over the years. |
