I opened the central console near the floor, and to access it, I had to temporarily disconnect the D00MB module, which is located behind the central console and accessible from the rear seats (it is positioned where the rear seat air vents are found in other car brands). I disconnected also two other connectors (and connected again). Unfortunately, after reconnecting the wiring, I am completely unable to start the car (Smart Key Not Recognized). Interestingly, I can't turn on the ignition even when I bring the key close to the steering wheel (where another proximity sensor should be). Additionally, the door lock/unlock remote buttons and the rear trunk release remote buton are not working (I believe the key’s radio module is located in the headliner). Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and shorting the cables on the vehicle side did not help. The car was working fine before. Will appreciate any help!

Is the battery in the fob good? these are the symptoms of a dud fob battery OR possibly you may not have correctly reconnected the wiring??? have you tried a second/spare fob? 2013 FL2 XS.
