Freelander 2 2013 SE SD4 (just purchased)

hi everyone ... I'm brand new here...

I tried to program a new smart key without success using a " Topdon Topscan Pro"

Now the following won't work (using the old smart key) :

Central locking using the key fob .. all 4 doors don't lock at all but the alarm/immobilizer activates

Manual locking using the buttons just beneath the clock

Auto locking when the speed exceeds 5 mph (as set )

the settings in the car's menu seem correct

The old key fob works fine with everything else ... tailgate lock&unlock, headlights on , panic

I used the same tool to clear some DTC faults but was careful not to EDIT anything

I've checked a whole lot of fuses that could be relevant ... does anyone know which fuse (s) would be relevant ?
It seems unlikely to be a mechanical or wiring problem because everything was 100% fine before...about 2 days ago

Any advice please ..... ?

ive used SDD a few time now to program new keys. perhaps you should try it yourself before going any further the other software mat have corrupted the programming ? also is your original key working ok buttons etc or battery low ? you can't use a second hand fob it has to be a new one VIRGIN about £15 eBay

At this stage I'm not too concerned with programming it .. I just want to fix/restore the central locking which, seemingly, I broke
The old key still starts the car .. the lights on, tailgate unlock and panic buttons all still work fine
