Any idea what this is?

Found this thing under the N/S front door trim panel? Does anyone have any ideas what it is?

Without a pic, it would just be a wild guess Rolling with laughter (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

Even with the pics I am none the wiser.

Judging by the double sided tape could it be part of an aftermarket alarm maybe ??

Looks like a sensor of some sort. Jules

I can't see it in the manual, is it part of an after market tracker or alarm system? FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Definitely not factory, & it’s some sort of warning buzzer, but for what is anybody's guess.
