can anyone tell me if the new Freelander 2 HSE has power folding mirrors.

the brochure lists them as standard on the GS but not available on the HSE ?

I don't understand why they would not be standard/available on the HSE.

any info appreciated

I think the confussion comes from the fact that the HSE as powerfold and auto reverse dipping door mounted mirrors. still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

I think the brochure only lists what is extra in each model as you go up the specification scale.
i.e. the HSE has everything the GS has plus a bit more. 09 FL2 HSE auto Lago Grey
71 Triumph Stag 3L
68 NGTCV8 3.5L

I've fancied a Freelander for a few years now but have always been put off by the reliability/problems, etc

but now I think I'm ready to take the plunge !!

Ignore my Cars faults they were nothing major but I still order my 2nd FL2 this time going for a HSE Auto Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Npinks you are going through the same feelings as me.
In spite of ranting and raving about various things and dealer probs now my motor is running well *touches wood* I can't get enough of driving it.

Thats why we now have his-n-hers FL2's, small niggles now and then but still a great car, and not too bad off-road too  ______________________

Mine has powerfold mirrors

over the last year we've tried various 4X4 's Tiguan/Forester/etc and each probably has something going for it, but the Freelander seems to have the best all round package ( albeit more expensive )

there is something about Landrovers which the others do not have and we're looking forward to trying it again !!
