Modern rear wiper on Freelander 2 - rear, that works?

Hello all,

I've read through all 49 search results on changing the rear wiper arm for something hmmm... less agricultural.
All links are out, all fleabay sellers out. And those who managed to get it, broke down shortly after.
The problem with ebay links are obvious - they only work for a short period.

So, wanting a good quality one, looking smooth, could you please suggest one that actually works. Not full plastic that cracks shortly after, risking to scratch the rear glass.

I think I read something about a Dacia rear wiper arm. Surely better than the no name china one.
I also read something about a Ford Mondeo one.
I have no idea if any works.

It would therefore be good to have an actual car brand, model, sub model and model year to go for.

All inputs are appreciated.

Kind regards,
Redfox.

Probably only used mine 3 times, I think all by accident. On a Freelander due to vertical window what is the point.

Wiping reversing camera lens occasionally does have more value.

Just get Wifey to do the cleaning.

Because I don't live in a dusty country like Australia, but in Denmark, where we get a lot of rain, snow and fog all year round.
Very useful thing, actually.

Kind regards,
Redfox.

People are always surprised about Australian weather.

All my relatives from England & Germany have complained how cold & miserable it is down under.

Still got some of this mud on the car years later. It is outback Australia mud that sets like concrete.

Sister in-law is arriving tomorrow for another tour down under.

We have a spare gortex raincoat & Bunnings umbrella (6m² (Aussies will understand))* for her! & thongs (for feet) or wellingtons... both water proof!

A big problem in Australia is floods & people drowning. It all might look safe on the surface. Dust it the least of one's problems.

Mine isn't agricultural at all. The blade and arm blend together seamlessly.
I've got to replace it though, as this winter has started to cause the rubber to break up. Not bad for 3 years I guess.
I change the front blades every autumn, using Bosch replacements. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.

Thanks for all the input gentlemen. I'll write back on my findings.

Meanwhile, I have changed the main light multi switch for a new one, so now my rear fog lights work as intended Wink

Kind regards,
Redfox

Here's my rear wiper, which I think is very neat.
Apologies for the dirt, but the roads are filthy around my way.
I also need a replacement blade, as mine is splitting at the ends.

@Nodge68, is that from a Renault? If memory serves, a member here had fitted one a while back. If it is do you have the part №?
