Removed TOMTOM from windscreen prior to test.

When i asked about it I was told this is what happens.
Also told if HGV,s turn up with phone holders and satnav on screens they would be turned away.
Luckily, local garage who do all my work for the last 19 years.

Yes correct When I was a HGV Driving Instructor part of the training was daily walk round checks,
"Windscreen no cracks, chips, or other damage, clean, NO OBSTRUCTIONS"

If a truck was presented for a HGV Driving test with any of the above the Examiners can refuse to conduct the Driving test.

Same as if you have any stickers or the like on the rear screen can fail a MOT as it obscures your rear vision so no stickers anywhere ! 2013 FL2 XS.

I had a ford probe fail on object hanging from inside mirror, yes a bloody failure for having an air freshner in the car, barsteward came to mind, it passed two mins later when I took it off.

Maybe all these testers will be recruited to the make believe police force that drive up and down the motorway in Toyotas etc, pursuing HGVs ?
