lost 5th/6th gears,reverse solenoid???

ok, my FL2 is finding it hard to locate 5/6th gear ,its as if its going to far over? I think its something to do with the reverse solenoid, any pics/guides on how to cure the issue

If the solenoid terminals are clean, and it works, then reset the gear lever position. How to do it is in the Manual.

have looked at this today, what a fiddly job! contacts looked ok but it still didnt work ,is it in the owners manual ,how to reset ? can/would it go out ? what could cause this
