'Drop-Plate'

It's rather convoluted, & seemingly, only done for the look of it!!

This was 'between' Land-Rovers, as I had the Discovery
I'd taken it off my 110Tdi Hard-Top, then it went back onto my 110Td5 'Heritage'

It would be interesting to calculate the stresses and loads placed on the tow bar and hitches. 😯
