I think it’s special non stick paint

My experience says that all paint types and colors fade or change shade over time.
Mostly red.
Silver and more so metallic versions have less fade.
I don't know the color code, but I would ask for it too.

Are you going to paint it yourself (pro home spray), or rattle can home spray, or get it professionally sprayed? The later will tone it to suit what ever shade it would be at this time.
